Jarvie Appoints Margaret H. Reiff, LCSW, as Executive Director/CEO On behalf of the Jarvie Commonweal Service Committee (JCSC), I am delighted to announce that on November 1, 2007, we appointed Margaret H. Reiff, LCSW, to serve as Jarvie’s next Executive Director & CEO. I served as a member of the Search Committee charged with identifying the next Executive Director and assure you that Margaret will be taking on this new role as the most highly and uniquely qualified candidate for the position. Margaret brings a long-term knowledge of Jarvie to this new role following her seven years of service as Deputy Director. She also has a strong background in grantmaking as a former Program Officer for the Brookdale Foundation Group. Given the strength of her background and the skills and knowledge she brings to her work, the Jarvie Committee believes that she is extraordinarily well-suited for the Executive Director role. We trust that Margaret will do everything in her power to enable the continuation of both the Individual Service Program, the core of our mission, and the Grants to Organizations Program through which Jarvie has been able to help build capacity and services addressing critical needs for larger numbers of elderly persons. We are confident that Jarvie’s presence in the aging service providers and grantmakers in aging communities will be capably carried forward under Margaret’s leadership. We value the fact that she cares deeply about all of Jarvie’s programs and has a passion for and solid background in serving older people for the past eighteen years.
